The Weavit Tote Bag sewing pattern (with video)
The Weavit Tote Bag is a tote with a difference. The woven side panels give it a modern twist as well as added structure and feature.
The weave is a fun technique that you will want to use again and again using the step by step directions in the pattern. The wide shoulder straps are sturdy and stay on the shoulder for all day comfort making this a fab ‘chuck it all in’ bag that you will want to use again and again!
Inside there are three slip pockets (one large and two smaller) and and there’s an optional magnetic snap to close.
Recommended fabrics and materials:
Use faux leather or cotton, add interfacing or use faux leather or cork without interfacing, the choice is yours.

This pattern is suitable for confident beginners/intermediate sewists.
