The Peony Improv Slouch Zipper Bag is a fun bag yet at the same time it’s also a stylish bag.
The designer says her project is so much fun to sew and it’s a great project to use up some of your scraps or left over jelly roll strips from your stash.
With the stripes of different colored fabrics across the bag you’ll be able to experiment with different color ranges and you’ll also be able to choose solid or print fabrics which will give you all kinds of different looks!

What’s needed to make a Peony Improv Slouch Zipper Bag:
- Assorted quilt weight fabric strips,
- 2/3 yard of lining fabric,
- One nylon zipper at least 15″ long,
- Two 1″ D rings,
- Two 1″ lobster clasp swivel hooks,
- One 1″ adjuster slider,
- Fusible Fleece,
- Fusible woven interfacing (pellon shapeflex 101),
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
