This pattern is ideally suited for use with a non-fraying fabric with good body such as oilcloth, soft leather, recycled eco-leather, vinyl, faux leather or fine suede. These can easily be sewn on a domestic sewing machine with a walking foot or a Teflon coated foot.
If using a fraying fabric, please see the designers instructions regarding additional seam allowances as you will need to line the handles, the bows, bow tabs and the back pocket prior to making up your bag.
