Project Baskets sewing pattern
This is the Project Baskets pdf sewing pattern from the excellent designer “love from beth”. (Check out her other patterns here.)
These are the perfect storage for work-in-progress craft projects like knitting, English paper piecing, or patchwork blocks. As the designer says – who doesn’t have more than one project on the go? She has made so many of these that she even uses them for the kid’s toys as well as general storage in the kitchen and bathroom.
They are stackable when you have made a few and the pattern can be made with or without handles depending on your preference.
The bag uses interfacing and the top is reinforced so it is sturdy and holds its shape. A real fabric basket.
Skill level:
The designer rates her pattern as a medium-skill-level project. But she says if you have made at least one whole quilt you could take this on without any problems. There are illustrations in the pattern to help.
Sizing info:
When you have finished making your own Project Basket it will measure approximately 6″ high by 13″ in diameter.
