The Mini Tote Bag is an easy basic design to make. Only simple construction techniques are used so it’s ideal for a beginner or a quick-sew project. When finished it measures approximately 11″ high by 7″ wide by 7″ deep.
The Indie Shopper Bag has a large main compartment with an exterior side pocket. It has reinforced handles and a large interior zippered pocket. Only basic construction techniques are used again so it’s a good pattern to learn basic bag sewing techniques. When finished it measures approximately 15″ high by 12″ wide by 7″ deep.
The designer has various material suggestions as follows – Use sturdy Cotton, Cotton Canvas, Oil Cloth or Upholstery Fabric.
You should note that this pattern comes with a cutting diagram and dimensions to follow. There are no pattern pieces to print and trace. Cut your fabric with a ruler and rotary cutter.
