Lunch Money Zippered Apple Pouch FREE sewing tutorial
|This is the Lunch Money Zippered Apple Pouch FREE sewing tutorial from the designer Snugglebug University and shared on the Make It & Love It website.
Here’s a cute zippered pouch the designer made for her kids for the start of school. They were specifically made to keep their lunch money in.
At the designer’s daughter’s school, kids can either bring money to buy lunch or they can use a card that their parents have added money to. She often forgot to add money to the card and ended up scavenging around the house for change in the morning. Other times her kids needed money for a book fair or a bake sale. It seems they always needed to bring a few dollars to school for something! This little zippered apple pouch was a fun solution for having somewhere to store a few dollars of cash.
The pouch is small enough to be a key chain. The apple pouch can hook onto an outside zipper pull, or can clip inside a backpack compartment.
The designer has made the apple pouch really sturdy, even though it’s made out of quilting cotton, because it is lined and made with fusible fleece.
As a finishing touch the designer a little felt leaf to embellish it a little more.
They are super quick to make and can make perfect gifts!
