The Lily Angled Front Pocket Crossbody Purse features one zipper front pocket and two slip back pockets. It has a secure zipper closure and three 4″ inside slip pockets.
This beginner-friendly pattern is created for vinyl or cork as an accent fabric but contains alternative instructions if you are using regular fabric and can’t have exposed edges.
A bonus pattern and instruction for the tassel are also included.

What is needed to make a Lily Angled Front Pocket Crossbody Purse:-
- Vinyl (or cork fabric) – 12” by 9” (plus optional – accent on strap 54” by 0.5” and tassel 4.5” by 5.5”),
- Waterproof Canvas – 14” by 30”,
- Lining – ½ yard (I’m using cotton),
- Zipper – 1.25” zipper tape one 9” (for pocket) + 13” (top of purse) & 2 zipper pulls,
- Back pocket closure – 2 sets of magnetic snaps (you can use regular snaps or leave them without any close as slip pockets),
- Thread – polyester thread,
- Purse strap – (2) 0.75-inch key fob hardware in place of D-rings | (2) 1” swivel clasps |54” of polyester webbing | 1” strap adjuster,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
