Recommended fabrics:
For the exterior, the designer recommends using cork, thin vinyl, thin leather or home decor weight fabric. It might get thick on the exterior gussets so keep that in mind.
What is needed to make a Goddess of the Sea Shoulder Bag:-
- 2/3 yards of exterior fabric,
- 1 yard of lining fabric,
- 3 yards of woven interfacing (20” wide),
- 1/3 yard of Pellon Peltex 71F stabilizer,
- Five 1 1/2” O-rings OR five 1 1/2″ gate rings,
- Two #5 14” zippers OR 27″ total of #5 zipper by the yard,
- Two zipper pulls if using zipper by the yard,
- One 18mm thin magnetic snap,
- Optional Hardware: 10 to 20 – rivets for handles and bag (thickness determined by your materials),
- Optional Hardware: 5 purse feet.
