Easy Beginner Basic Clutch Bag sewing pattern
The designer has made this pattern with detailed instructions, as a great way for a beginner sewer to make their very own clutch bag. This is her Beginner Basic Clutch Bag, which is easy and quick to make and requires very little supplies.
This clutch bag is perfect for keeping all your basic essentials for a day (or night) out but also can be used to store all your gadgets, cosmetics and brushes or anything that needs to be kept together. It’s completely lined throughout, has absolutely no raw seams, comes with one patch pocket and it closes with a magnetic snap.
How big is this bag?
When you have finished making yourself your very own Beginner Basic Clutch Bag it will measure approximately:
- 9 3/8″ (23.8 cm) across the top,
- 10 1/2″ (23.5 cm) across the bottom,
- 1″ (2.5 cm) deep,
- 5 3/4” (14.5 cm) top to bottom.
What you will need to make the Beginner Basic Clutch Bag:
- One fat quarter of fabric for the exterior,
- Under one fat quarter of a second fabric for the exterior,
- 1/2 a yard of lining fabric,
- Fusible interfacing,
- One ½” (14mm) magnetic snap,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
The 35 pages pdf pattern comes with step-by-step detailed instructions with lots of color photos to help you along the way. All the measurements are in both inches and centimetres.
