Drawstring Jewelry Pouch FREE sewing pattern
|NOTE – This pattern download seems to be temporarily unavailable!!
Here’s a really quick and simple project for you – a Drawstring Jewelry Pouch – where the pattern is FREE. It’s a stash buster of a project where you will need to use four of your favorite fat quarters.
This beginner project is ideal for you to make gifts for your girlfriends or loved ones. They can be super fun as a stocking filler or add some jewelry and make it a wonderful gift. It would also be perfect as a bridesmaids gift as well.
Pull the cording to gather the circles until they create a pouch. Put all of your jewelry in there when you are getting ready to travel and they will remain separated so there are no more tangles or damaged jewelry. It’s surprisingly compact and it is super easy to throw in your purse when you’re flying or if you don’t want to leave them in the hotel room.
The designer was able to fit all of her jewelry into her pouch – 7 necklaces and 7 bracelets and they were not small pieces.
What you will need to make the Drawstring Jewelry Pouch:-
- Four Fat Quarters of your choice,
- 1 yard of 1/8″ Coordinating Cording,
- A scrap of thick padding or fabric like fleece,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- Sewing machine.
