It’s a really simple pattern that makes a most modern and youthful-looking bag. This fold-over style clutch has got a relaxed sophistication about it. The designer has produced an excellent tutorial so that you can make this very stylish Clutch Bag in a short time. The fold-over part of the flap is cut on a gentle diagonal, hence the name of the pattern, but you can also leave it straight, or cut a more pronounced diagonal slant, or even add a soft curve to the top of your bag. The choice is yours.
Make this one with a glamorous fabric, and it makes the perfect clutch bag for evenings too.

What you will need to make the Diagonal Fold-Over Clutch Bag:-
- Four pieces of 14” by 13” rectangles of quilting cotton fabric,
- Two 14” by 13” rectangle of heavier weight iron-on interfacing – perhaps Decor Bond,
- Two 4” by 4” squares for the accent corners on the bag,
- One 14” long zipper,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- Sewing machine.
