The Crystal Boxy Pouch is a simple yet versatile pouch that is suitable for many purposes and of course, it is a unisex project too.
This quick box pouch features a unique twist where the zipper at the top is hidden. This pattern has no exposed raw edges and a close-fitting lining. You also do not need to bind the edges with this clever construction method!
These pouches are handy for sewing notions, cosmetics and much more. The large size would make good packing pods for your suitcase. This style of zipper bag also makes a great dopp bag for your guy.
This project is great for a confident beginner sewer and the two pattern sizes are large and medium.
When you make yourself these Crystal Boxy Pouches they will measure approximately:
- Large = 10″ wide by 5″ high by 5″ deep.
- Medium = 10 ⅜” wide by 3 ½” high by 4″ deep.
What you will need to make the Crystal Boxy Pouch:
- Cotton fabric, denim, upholstery or other medium-weight fabric,
- Pellon SF-101 Shape Flex woven fusible interfacing, Woven Fuse or Vilene G700 or similar,
- Fleece/Foam of your choice,
- One zipper,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
