This classic handbag sewing pattern comes in two version in the same pattern – choose the original Classico Handbag or choose the easier and quicker version with the Classico Mk 2. Both are pictured and described below. You can pick just one of the versions, or decide to try both and buy the two Classico patterns in a mini bundle – its all described below with links to each option.
(1) Classico Handbag sewing pattern (with video)
The Classico Handbag PDF Sewing pattern, styled to resemble vintage Hermes Handbags the Classico Bag is a bag for all occasions.
The bag features simple styling and will compliment every outfit. Using minimal hardware to create this super stylish and functional handbag.
The Classico features a distinctive shaped flap fastened with a magnetic faster and a feature strap that helps to give the bag it’s shape at the sides.
Beautiful, slim rolled handles that can be sewn longer or shorter according to taste.
Internally you will create a zipper pocket and a double pleated pocket in the perfectly fitted lining.

The Classico is suitable for all skill levels and is able to be made using a domestic machine.

The classico can be made in cotton fabrics, decor weight fabrics or faux leather and takes minimal hardware (one buckle and one magnetic fastener)

(2) Classico MK2 sewing pattern (with video)
This is the Classico MK2 pdf sewing pattern
Styled as a homage to the classic Hermes bags, the Classico MK2 is a smaller grab bag for all occasions. The bag features simple styling and will compliment every outfit.
With faux straps allowing you to use a twist lock to create the iconic look of the bag, there is no need for unusual or expensive hardware.
The Classico MK2 features a choice of flap shapes, with a stylish grab handle on the flap. Internally you will create a zipper pocket and a double slip pocket in the perfectly fitted lining.
Timeless style and elegance in a handbag for all.
Classico MK2 can be purchased on its own or you can purchase the original Classico Bag HERE to create a matching set! (The original Classico Bag is larger and has a real closure strap.) Or why not purchase them as a bundle.

The Classico Handbag mini bundle. The original was so popular that a second version was developed. Slightly smaller and with a faux strap closure. Buy one, buy the other, or buy this mini bundle with them both.
