It is not surprising to know that this designer has so many followers and fans – we always adore all of the patterns and fun projects. This excellent pattern for a storage and travel case for your jewelry is available for free.
This is a Travel Jewelry Case that can be made from three fat quarters. This lovely case has spots for your earrings, rings, necklaces, and bracelets.
If you don’t know how, the designer will teach you easy foundation piecing for the exterior. You will also install 2 zippers for two separate compartments on the inside and there’s also a ring tie and earring holder.
When you have finished making your Travel Jewelry Case it will measure approximately 6” by 10” when closed and 12” by 10” when open.
What you will need to make the Travel Jewelry Case:-
- 1/4 yard or one fat quarter of main fabric,
- 1/4 yard or one fat quarter of lining fabric,
- 1/4 yard or one fat quarter of coordinating fabric,
- 1/4 yard of craft felt, fusible fleece, or quilt batting for a stabilizer,
- A frog closure,
- Two zippers 7” or longer,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
