The Luna Backpack sewing pattern (with video) with Monster Add-On
|The Luna Backpack Pattern is a midi backpack that is birthed (no binding) and has lots of features. There are 2 zipper pockets (1 inside, and 1 outside), a slip pocket (for your phone or notebook), a cup holder, and 4 pen holder pockets. Optional rivets add to the pro look and give strength.
It’s a mini backpack that fits a tonne. It’s perfect for all ages from toddlers to adults! This bag was designed to be suitable for all ages – the designer made one for her 5-year-old, she made a Harry Potter version for her 11-year-old and she made one for herself. They all fit great and all are super useful with the inside pockets and organization.
Enhance this already awesome backpack pattern with the monster add-on to make this backpack into a cute or fierce monster or omit the front zipper pocket and use a cool panel. (Pick the monster upgrade from the drop-down box for this add-on option).

UPGRADE THIS PATTERN WITH THE MONSTER ADD-ON (OPTIONAL):
There is also a Monster Add-on which is a fun addition and helps to turn this bag into a cute monster backpack for the kids (or for you, we don’t judge!) The Monster Add-on pattern is a cute addition to The Luna Backpack. Take your backpack into the cute or fearsome world with the addition of eyes, eyebrows, horns, and a lowered pocket for all those snacks that monsters like to munch! Please note that if you don’t have the luna pattern this add-on pack won’t make a bag on its own.
The skill level is again Intermediate/Advanced.
Watch the free video tutorial (COMING SOON!) to see how it’s made before purchasing or to sew along to.
For the Monster Add-On, you will need Colored vinyl, felt, or non-fraying fabric in White, Black, and a mid-tone.
