Ooh, we loved this little bag the minute we found it. It’s ideal for a camera, but useful for lots more besides.
It’s a very simple (free) pattern, so once you see how the pieces go together you could create this bag in any size you like. Talk about simple – just one piece for the body and then another piece for the side panels – that’s it! Add some pretty contrasting binding and you are done.
This would make a cute travel bag for lots of items – how about sewing in a piece of elastic, sewn into sections for holding your nail polish? Or essential oils? Anything!
When you have finished making a Quilted Camera Case it will measure approximately 5 ½” by 4 ½” by 2″.
What you will need to make a Quilted Camera Case:-
- An 18″ by 22″ piece (fat quarter) of red-and-black stripe (binding),
- A 9″ by 22″ piece (fat eighth) of black novelty print fabric (lining),
- A 9″ by 22″ piece (fat eighth) of white novelty print fabric (bag),
- A 9″ by 22″ rectangle batting,
- One 7/8″ diameter button: red,
- One 1/2″ diameter button: black,
