Description
The Vordenza is a cute little crossbody designed to be the perfect everyday bag, with room to fit your wallet, sunglasses, keys & phone. It features an interior slip pocket as well as 4 card slots and 2 exterior zip pockets. The pattern has two size options. The large size is just the right size to fit a standard iPad/tablet in as well as your other essentials, and the small will fit an iPad mini.
The black & brown bag featured in the photos is the large size and the purple and grey is the small. Both bags shown were made on a domestic sewing machine.
There is no binding used in any of my patterns.
Sizing info:
Large: 8″ tall x 10.5″ wide x 1.5″ deep

The pattern:
It’s an intermediate pattern and includes an 18 page step by step pattern with photos as well as a printable pattern pieces in both A4 and “letter” paper sizes (in separate files).
Materials needed:
There are no raw edges in the pattern so you can use cotton, cork or vinyl, provided your machine can manage it. There is a neat zipper panel closure on top and it has an adjustable crossbody strap. The pattern requires very little hardware, just 24″ of size 5 continuous zip, 3 zip pulls, 1 x 1″ slider and 2 x 1″ rectangle rings. You can add rivets if you like, but they’re not essential. (If you prefer to use standard zips, you’ll need 2 x 10″ and 1 x 15″).
Other materials required for construction include:
Exterior fabric (brown cork in the photo): 15″ x 15″
Feature fabric (black in the photo): 17″ x 44″
Lining fabric (hummingbirds in the photo): 26″ x 44″
Medium woven interfacing (SF101/G700): 45″ x 35″
Sew-in foam (Soft & Stable/Bosal/Style-Vil): 14 1/2″ x 20″
