The designer shows you how to make her adorable tote bag in two different ways. The first way is to make a beautiful patchwork tote with pockets on the inside. Or you can make her tote bag with pockets on the outside and patchwork on the inside. You choose which one to make or if you like you could make them both.
You will see from the photos of this bag that you can carry it cinched or un-cinched, and the designer has also given you the chance to add some personal touches with an applique patch.
At the time the designer was working on her design, as all good designers do, she involved her readers. She asked them what fabric she should use and they mainly suggested linen or canvas.
