Double Zip Wristlet FREE sewing pattern
Here’s your chance to make this fabulous little clutch bag from the very talented and generous designer Sweet Bee Buzzings. The Double Zip Wristlet is a FREE sewing pattern where you’ll be able to make this delightful little wristlet.
The designer used two prints for her purse. The list of materials etc needed is shown below.
What you will need to make a Double Zip Wristlet:-
- A little more than a fat quarter of each of two fabrics,
- Two zippers (The designer likes longer zippers. Hers were 12″ each),
- One 1/4 inch swivel hook to attach her strap, but that’s optional,
- Fusible interfacing,
- Fusible fleece,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
The designer points out that you should read through the instructions first. You may have questions that will be answered and you’ll be familiar with the order of operations. The designer used a 3/8 inch seam allowance, but if your want to go 1/4 inch that’ll work fine too – just be consistent she says. Backstitch at the beginning and end of every seam. If you’re using directional fabrics pay attention to your layout. And finally, she doesn’t use a zipper foot, but you can use yours if you like.
