This sewing pattern will allow you to create a beautiful rounded tote bag with a large outer pocket and a large inside phone pocket. The rounded and gusseted bottom means a generous size, great for everyday use, large enough to accommodate all your essentials.
This professional quality shoulder bag is fully lined throughout with a large feature profile stitched pocket on the front and a generous shoulder strap.
Flexible foam inside means The Shapely Tote Bag stands up unaided and keeps its signature bell-bottom shape even with a full load.
The finished bag is approximately 9 3/4″ by 9 1/2″ (25 x 24 cm).
In the example shown the fabric used was Harris tweed, but the pattern is suitable for most medium weight fabrics including tweeds, denim and medium weight furnishing weight pieces of cotton.
