The Weekend Bag is a spacious tote with two over-shoulder handles. The exterior has a diagonal front pocket that wraps around the back and a smaller phone pocket peeping out from behind it. The interior is fully lined with two pockets and a D-ring key fob. The bag closes securely with a zippered, recessed panel.
There are lots of details on this bag that can be coordinated with each other. The band across the wrap pocket, the phone pocket, the lining and the zip-casing can all contrast or coordinate. Nothing could be nicer than using up the scraps of your dressmaking project on a bag that coordinates beautifully with your outfit.
Sizing Info:
The dimensions are 35cm by 30cm with a deep 9cm base.
Recommended fabrics: medium to heavy weight cotton, denim, medium weight wool.
Notions required: 12″/30cm bag zip, interfacing, D-ring/ lobster clasp.
Fabric quantities vary depending on which pattern pieces you cut from similar fabrics. You can mix and match to create your own unique combination. See pattern details for dimensions.
