This set of three nesting storage trays with a lid is perfect for storing your sewing essentials. If you need more storage, just utilize the lid as a fourth tray.
This project is quick and easy to sew. These Crap Caddies are perfect for your sewing space or anywhere you want to stay organized.
The Crap Caddies are a domestic machine-friendly project suitable for all skill levels. There are bullet point instructions for those who are more experienced.
Small = 5″ by 6″ by 2⅜”.
Medium = 7″ by 7⅜” by 2¾”.
Large = 9″ by 9½” by 3.
Lid = 9⅛” by 10″ by 1¾”.

If you haven’t done so before then this is your chance to learn how to make and sew bias cut binding. And learn how to create basic quilting. There are video tutorials for each of these new skills are in the pattern and shown below:
- 1½ yard/ 1½ meter of exterior fabric, quilting weight cotton,
- 1½ yard/ 1½ meter of lining fabric, quilting weight cotton,
- 26″ by 26″ of binding fabric, quilting weight cotton,
- 4 yards by 20″ wide / 1½ meter by 90 cms wide of foam stabilizer such as Vilene Stylevil/ ByAnnies Soft’n’Stable, Pellon Flexfoam/ Automotive headliner scrim foam 2/3mm thick.
This pattern contains full-sized pattern pieces to be printed on your home domestic printer (A4 or US Letter size).
