The design of these three spacious backpacks is versatile and depending on the choice of fabrics and materials, it can be made for children, women or men.
Each of the backpacks have two side slip pockets and a spacious zipper pocket on the outside. All versions are fully lined and there is a possibility of another zipper pocket inside (part of the instructions). The shoulder straps are adjustable.
The instructions cover three versions of the design of the backpack:
- a drawstring,
- a top zip and
- a foldover backpack (secured by a zipper closure).
All three are based on almost matching pattern template, only the finishing steps are different, therefore I decided to offer all three in one package deal.

Finished backpacks size (H x W x D): 40 x 30 x 15 cm (15,75 x 11,8 x 5,9") approx
Skill level:
The pattern is suitable for confident beginners and for most domestic sewing machines.
Recommended materials:
A suitable material is cotton, waterproof canvas, leatherette, cork and their various combinations.

The pattern includes a printable pattern pieces and easy to follow step by step sewing instructions with lots of pictures. These instructions will help you create your own beautiful backpack. Each pattern is a standalone product so you will receive three full sewing patterns and template files.
