The Sequoia Crossbody is a roomy messenger style bag that is fully lined and has oodles of pockets.
It features two roomy exterior slip pockets, an interior slip pocket, two interior zip pockets, as well as an interior slip pocket. It also includes five credit card slots.
This will become your every day bag.

The Sequoia Crossbody pattern is great for the intermediate sewer.
Sizing info:
The Sequoia Crossbody is 11” wide by 12.5” tall by 3” deep.
Materials needed:
- Exterior fabric – approximately 1 yard (1.5 yards for directional fabric or fussy cutting),
- Contrast Fabric – 12” wide by 5” tall piece of cork or viny,
- Lining Fabric – approximately 1 yard (up to 1.25 yards if using directional fabric),
- Light weight interfacing (i.e. Pellon sf101) – approx. 3 yards of 20” width,
- Foam interfacing – approximately 1 yard (if using waxed canvas or a heavier material for your bag you may want to change to a fleece interfacing where it calls for Foam),
- Pellon Peltex (or other heavyweight interfacing) – 8” wide by 3” tall piece,
- Decovil Light (or similar interfacing) – 6” wide by 7” tall piece,
- Coordinating thread,
- Double stick quilters tape or glue stick (optional, but highly recommended),
- Three double cap rivets or chicago screws (optional),
- One 5.5” #5 zipper,
- Two 9” #5 zippers,
- Two 1” rectangle rings,
- One 1” adjustable slider,
- Three magnetic snaps.
