Skill level:
This pattern is for the Intermediate Sewist. You'll need to know how to install magnetic snaps, determine interfacing requirements and sew gussets in a tighter space.
Sizing info:
9 1/4"W x 6 3/8"H x 3 3/8"D
Recommended fabrics: I strongly recommend quilt weight cotton for the exterior and lining. Oilcloth and vinyl covered fabric can be used but I recommend sewing in quilting weight cotton the first time to get familiar with the pattern, specifically the gussets.
Materials needed: (measurements are approximate and do account for directional and/or fussy cutting)
Exterior fabric: 1/3 yard or a fat quarter
Lining fabric: 1/3 yard or a fat quarter
Woven Interfacing 20” wide: 1 yard
Fusible foam (or equivalent): 1/3 yard
Pellon 71F Peltex (or equivalent): 9” x 3” piece
2 sets - 14mm or 18mm thin magnetic snaps
