The bag could be carried as a crossbody purse or a wristlet. It features a secure cell phone zipper pocket on the back. Inside it has a three-card slots/slip pocket and a zipper pocket.
The scalloped edges of the accent panels are easily created with scalloped pinking shears or crafting scissors. This project is designed for and created on a domestic sewing machine.
Finished size:
7" tall by 9.5" wide by 1.5" deep.
Supplies needed:
• Outer Accent Fabric – 11” x 8” Canvas / Quilting Cotton
• Outer Fabric #1 – 11” x 15” Vinyl / Cork (None fraying fabric)
• Lining – ½ yard Quilting Cotton
• Interfacing – 10” x 8” Fusible Fleece / Decovil Light
• Outside Zipper – 18” of #5 Zipper Tape & (2) #5 Zipper Pulls
• Inside Zipper – 8” of #3 Zipper Tape & (1) #3 Zipper Pull (#5 would work also)
• D-Ring Tabs – (2) Sets of Rivets and (2) ½” D-Rings
• Strap – 58” 1-Inch Polyester Webbing Tape; (4) Sets of Rivets; (2) 1-Inch Swivel Clasps; (1) 1-Inch Strap Adjusted
• Double-Sided Tape
• Thread – Polyester Thread in Corresponding Colors
• Scalloped Pinking Shears – needed to create the scalloped details on the accent panels
• Pinking Shears/craft scissors – are not necessary, but suggested
Optional supplies needed:
• Interfacing – SF101 ½ Yard (optional) - If you want a stiffer lining you can interface it with SF101.
• Wristlet Strap – 12” Webbing Tape, 1.25”x 2.25” Vinyl & (1) 1-Inch Swivel Clasp, (1) Set of Rivets
