The 'Pi Press Bag' is the Seventh pattern in a series of user-friendly bag patterns designed to teach essential skills to bag makers.
In this instance we focus on 'Binding' but don't be fooled into thinking this is the only thing to learn from this pattern, we also look at 3D pockets, no zipper tape exposed zipper pockets, simple quilting and how to make and sew your own perfect binding.
The Pi Press Bag is a bespoke stylish storage solution for your tabletop rivet press. Going to class or retreat? No problem, your press and dies can travel in style with this bag to protect it from knocks and dings and to keep all of your press essentials together. With the option for up to 6x 3D die pockets ( you can add another three to the gusset of you need to, making 9 die pockets) and two large internal zippered pockets for all of your essentials, you will always be organised. Long straps, with a strap pad for comfort if you're carrying your press. So many options to customise to suit your needs you can build the perfect press bag for you.
Sizing info:
Finished size - 9’’ wide x 10’’ height x 4 1/2 ’’ deep. After extensive research the size of this bag will fit MOST tabletop rivet presses, however, the pattern is easy to alter should you need to.

The Pi Press Bag is classed as a confident beginner /intermediate level pattern.
The pattern:
38 pages of instructions, full-colour photographs and diagrams to guide you through each stage of construction. With full sized pattern pieces included to print on your domestic home printer as well as a comprehensive cutting chart for those who prefer to cut from measurements. This pattern can be sewn on a domestic sewing machine.
Please be aware there are 3 separate documents to download. One is the PDF pattern with full-colour borders, for those who like to view the instructions on a tablet or laptop. I have also included a version of the pattern with no borders for those who prefer to print the instructions (saving you ink). The third download is a PDF list of links for the video tutorial.

A comprehensive video tutorial is also included to help guide you through construction and offer additional ideas and advice for construction. A series of individual videos breaking the whole process into easily manageable bite-sized chunks.
