Materials needed:
- Approx. 1/2 yard (50 cm) of exterior fabric (based on 45" wide fabrics),
- Approx. 1/4 yard (25 cm) of lining fabric (based on 45" wide fabrics),
- Approx. 1/2 yard (50 cm) of your preferred medium weight interfacing,
- Approx. 1/4 yard (25 cm) of your preferred foam stabilizer,
- One 9" (23 cm) multipurpose zipper (tape) - #5 recommended,
- One zipper pull,
- Two zipper ends (optional).
The Lip Shut Pouch can be made with any fabric of your choice. You should ensure that you interface and stabilize your chosen fabrics accordingly. For the designer's prototypes, she made use of faux leather and denim for the exterior, stabilized with car headliner foam. For the interior, she made use of cotton woven interfaced with SF101/ G700.
