Kincha, The Japanese Drawstring Bag, is a project for beginner sewers.

It is built on the classic Japanese Kinchaku Bag model, with a twist that makes it even easier to create a professional-looking Bag.

In addition to the classic model, Kincha includes instructions to attach a strap.

In less than 1 hour you will create a beautiful bag that you can use as a project/knitting bag or to carry your loved things when going out.

Skill level:
Easy. You will need basic machine sewing skills.

Sizing info:
Large = Width 20 cm (7.8”), Body Height 20 cm (7.8”), Total height, including the strap is 60 cm (23.6”).
Small = Width 13 cm (5.1"), Body Height 13 cm (5.1”), Total height, including the strap is 30 cm (11.8”).

Material needed:
- Outer fabric: a piece of at least 90 cm x 60 cm (35.5” x 23.5”).
- Lining fabric: a piece of at least 90 cm x 100 cm (35.5” x 40”) Interfacing - a piece of at least 90 cm x 60 cm (35.5” x 23.5”).
- Matching thread.
