Description
You can now make your own handmade Cover and Carry Case for the Instant Pot Duos. The designer wanted an attractive cover for her Instant Pot Duos when it is on the kitchen counter but she also needed a case to protect the pot when being transported in her RV, hence the combined design. The case is designed to use the appliance handle to carry the weight rather than having long straps to worry about.
This Instant Pot Cover and Carry Case fits the Duo Mini, 5/6-quart, and 8-quart sizes. You will find that it will fit other appliances in your kitchen as well. The designer put hers over her round rice maker, fryer, slow cooker, etc. You will have to decide what other devices you may like to make these for but we expect you will make more of these for your other appliances so you’ll keep the same look in your kitchen. The designer also made this adjustable in that you can fold up the bottom on the outside to form a pocket all the way around which can hold your special tools and even a cookbook to keep everything handy. It also makes it more versatile to fit a wider variety of appliances.

- Instant Pot Duo 5/6-Quart Size: 1/2 yard Exterior Fabric, 7/8 yard Lining Fabric, Fat Quarter Contrast Fabric, 1 1/4 yard fusible fleece interfacing, purchased package of double-fold seam binding, purchased package of piping, four 3/8″ sew-on snaps.
- Instant Pot Duo 8-Quart Size: 1 1/3 yard Exterior Fabric(This size is not friendly with 1-way designs), 1 1/3 yard Lining Fabric, Fat Quarter Contrast Fabric, 1 1/4 yard fusible fleece interfacing, purchased package of double-fold bias tape seam binding, purchased package of piping, four 3/8″ sew-on snaps.
The designer would like to point out that Instant Pot(R) is a separate company and she is not related to them in any way. She could not find a sewing pattern for her pot so she decided to create one and share it with us all. You may make as many of these as you like to use yourself or give as gifts.

The entire file consists of 33-pages with full-color photos, color diagrams, and full step-by-step directions. If you have any questions please contact the designer directly.
The pattern contains all the pattern pieces you will need for all four of these devices. As they are larger than a sheet of printer paper expect to print, cut and tape the circle pattern pieces together. She provides the measurements for the rectangle bodies so you don’t have to print, cut, and tape 100 pages together. You will find sewing tips along the way for applying piping and seam-binding tape.
