The Golfera Bag is a totally trendy bag which has a very versatile design. This small crossbody zipper bag has wonderful accent piping and lots of zippers for a modern look and plenty of storage.

By choosing different materials and adding/removing the optional piping and pockets you can change it around or make multiple different versions.

It has a super-wide main compartment with a zippered entrance on the top gusset, two exterior zipper pockets on the front.

The designer recommends using thick fabrics such as vinyl or faux leather (I’ve used faux leather in my example). If you are going to use cotton or canvas you should use appropriate interfacing to give the bag some good body and help it keep its shape.

She hasn’t used interfacing with the vinyl, but she did include the piping line which gives the bag a more professional appearance and also helps to keep a firm shape. For the lining, she’s used cotton.

Maybe mix and match your fabrics for a truly custom design. This would look good in denim too. She strongly recommends using fabric glue in places, it will make the work easier, and she rates her project as suitable for an intermediate sewer.
